1. How do the included server instances work?

Every plan includes a set number of deployed server slots (3 on Ingot, 6 on Anvil, and 12 on Forge). This is the number of game servers you can have installed in your CubeCoders AMP portal at one time. You can run a single demanding server or run multiple lighter servers simultaneously—there is no artificial cap on how many you run at once, provided your vPC hardware has the CPU and RAM headroom. If you need more installation slots, you can add them anytime for £1/€1 per month.

2. Can I switch to a different game whenever my group wants to move on?

Yes. You are never locked into a single game title. Through your dedicated CubeCoders AMP portal, you can stop an active game server, back up or delete the instance, and deploy a completely new supported game on demand in minutes at no extra cost.

3. What is the difference between Aluminium, Steel, and Titanium sub-tiers?

All three sub-tiers within a series give you the exact same RAM and vCPU core count, but scale in storage speed, capacity, and CPU allocation:

  • Aluminium: High-capacity HDD storage (100 MB/s) hosted in Germany—built for budget-friendly, storage-heavy setups.

  • Steel: Fast SSD storage (400+ MB/s) with global server locations available.

  • Titanium: High-speed NVMe storage (1000+ MB/s), global locations, and Dedicated vCPU cores for guaranteed tick rates on CPU-heavy or heavily modded games.

4. How is Bare Metal Gaming different from standard slot-based game hosts?

Standard game hosts sell you a single game slot on a crowded machine where you share CPU and memory with dozens of strangers. With Bare Metal Gaming, you get your own isolated vPC environment with dedicated RAM, a pre-configured 16 GB disk swap for memory-spike protection, automated backups, and a monthly security hardening and patch cycle.

5. How does provisioning work, and why don't you offer weekend rentals?

Every BMG environment is manually provisioned, security-hardened, and configured with its own dedicated CubeCoders AMP instance rather than spun up on a disposable shared node. Because we invest engineering time into building a stable, long-term hub for your community, our platform is built for ongoing groups rather than 48-hour throwaway rentals.

5. What is AMP, and what games can I host?

Every Bare Metal Gaming server is powered by CubeCoders AMP, an elite game server management control panel that gives you full, direct control over your environment. AMP enables instant, on-demand deployment for a massive library of multiplayer titles—from survival builders and RPGs to FPS dedicated servers.
